Terms of Service

By accessing or using HYrion ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

These Terms constitute a binding legal agreement between you and HYrion Inc. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time, with notice provided for material changes.

HYrion is an AI-powered career platform that provides tools including resume tailoring, cover letter generation, job search, auto-apply functionality, interview preparation, application tracking, networking CRM, and career analytics.

The Service is provided on an "as-is" basis and is subject to ongoing updates, changes, and improvements. Features may be added, modified, or removed at any time.

You must be at least 16 years old to use HYrion. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must:

• Provide accurate and current information when registering
• Keep your password confidential and not share account access
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
• Use one account per person (no shared or organizational accounts on personal plans)

You agree not to use HYrion to:

• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent job applications
• Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service using automated tools
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Harass, impersonate, or harm other users
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or otherwise interfere with the Service
• Use the Service for any commercial purpose without prior written consent

You retain full ownership of content you upload to HYrion (resumes, cover letters, work history, etc.). By uploading content, you grant HYrion a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display that content solely to provide the Service to you.

We do not claim ownership over your career data and will not use it for purposes beyond providing the Service without your explicit consent.

HYrion uses AI to generate resumes, cover letters, interview answers, and other career materials. You understand and agree that:

• AI-generated content is a starting point and should be reviewed and edited before use
• You are solely responsible for the accuracy of any materials submitted to employers
• HYrion does not guarantee that AI-generated content will result in job interviews or offers
• Submitting false information to employers is your responsibility and may have legal consequences

HYrion offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) through our payment processor, Stripe.

• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
• You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period
• Refunds are provided within 7 days of initial purchase if you have not used the Service
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers

The HYrion platform, brand, logo, and all underlying technology are owned by HYrion Inc. and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

HYrion does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that job applications submitted through the platform will result in employment outcomes.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HYRION SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100 CAD, whichever is greater.

You may close your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with or without prior notice depending on severity.

Upon termination, your access to the Service ends immediately. Sections 6, 9, 10, 11, and 13 survive termination.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, disclose, and retain personal information.

For users in Canada, HYrion handles personal information in alignment with PIPEDA principles, including meaningful consent, limited collection and use, safeguards, access rights, and accountability.

If you withdraw consent for optional processing, we will apply that change going forward, subject to legal and contractual requirements.
